This shall be an ongoing article about the introduction of ‘talkies’ to South Australian picture theatres. I will start with just placing some advertisements, but the idea will be to gather enough to write an article about the subject. In the meantime here is an advertisement from The Transcontinental (Based in Port Augusta) dated 20th December 1929.
